Dress in appropriate beekeeping attire and NOT wear perfume. Participants MUST WEAR long pants (preferably blue jeans), we recommend a long-sleeved
shirt, and socks with BOOTS OR SHOES THAT COVER YOUR ANKLES (ex: hiking boots, rain boots, high leather tennis shoes). Please make sure your shoes are leather or rubber.
Our bee suits do not include foot coverings which is why we ask you to wear shoes that also protect your ankles. Canvas/fabric/mesh shoes cannot be worn as bee stingers can penetrate
those materials. DO NOT WEAR SANDALS. We recommend wearing white or other light colors but, DO NOT WEAR BLACK. Long hair should be worn up and we also recommend wearing a hat or bandanna.
Children under 10 years old may not attend the class. Due to the nature of the class, we ask that children under 10 years old not attend (unless specific permission is
granted by SF Honey & Pollen Co.). In addition, we require that any children 14 years old and under are accompanied by an adult.
All participants must sign a participant agreement. All participants are required to sign a participant agreement before taking the class. Participants under the age of 18
must have an adult or guardian sign the participant agreement for them.
